For 6th – 12th Graders – Roster is currently fullJoin us for an exciting sixth season of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate! Our program spans five thrilling sessions, where participants will compete in four tournaments to win prizes and to earn Smash Points for seeding in the Grand Tournament in the final session of Season 6.Program Details:Sessions: Five tournaments in total. The first four tournaments will earn participants Smash Points. The fifth and final tournament will be the Grand Tournament where players will be seeded based on their Smash Points.Tournament Format: Doubleelimination (each participant gets 2 chances to compete for the top 3 spots).Seeding: Random seeding for the first four sessions, with Smash Points earned for the Grand Tournament seeding.Registration: Register once to be entered into the roster for all 5 tournaments.Arrival Time: Participantsmust arrive by 5:45 PM. Doors lock automatically at 5:55 PM, and staff may not be available to let latecomers in.Prizes: For the first four tournament, players that place in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place get to choose a prize from the prize table. Remaining prizes will be raffled off to those whodid not place in the top 3. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd winner in the Grand Tournament will win a $100 Amazon Gift Certificate, $50 Amazon Gift Certificate, and a $25 Amazon Gift Certificate respectively.Mystery Side Tournament: Each session will feature a single elimination side tournament with random prizes for 1st and 2nd place.REGISTRATION: Participants only have to register once to be entered into the roster for all 5 tournaments. Please only register if you are able to attend all the tournaments. We ask this to maintain competitive integrity. Once the roster is locked in, we create the brackets for the entire season. Missing a tournament means that you weaken the competition. Tournament 2 & onward, patrons must stop and speak with YA Librarians Pete or Eli to register. Once the roster is full, patrons who want to join will have to speak with the YA Librarians to be put ona Wait List.
