Mokena Village Board Meeting | September 15, 2025

Resident Receives $6,000 Refund for Utility Bill Overpayment: The Village Board approved its special accounts payable list, which included a notable refund of $6,082.34 to a resident. Village Administrator John Tomasoski explained that the resident had mistakenly overpaid their utility bill with funds that were intended for their property tax payment. The board’s approval authorizes the village to return the overpayment to the resident.
