MOKENA, IL – The Mokena Fire Protection District board on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, unanimously approved its annual health and dental insurance renewal, securing rates with increases well below the regional average.

Trustee Warning made a motion, seconded by Trustee Burkhardt, to approve the renewal of the annual medical/dental healthcare premium. The motion passed with a unanimous roll call vote from all five trustees present.
