MOKENA, IL – The Mokena Fire Protection District board on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, unanimously approved its annual health and dental insurance renewal, securing rates with increases well below the regional average.
The board approved a 9% increase for health insurance and a 7% increase for dental coverage. According to the meeting minutes, other districts are reporting increases for their Blue Cross Blue Shield policies that range from 24% to 40%.
