Lincoln-Way East Men Edge Stagg in Shortened Varsity Event

The Lincoln-Way East men’s varsity track and field team secured a narrow 2.5 to 1.5 advantage over Palos Hills Stagg on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, in a severely abbreviated contest on their home track.

Only one event was officially recorded to completion in the men’s matchup during the afternoon’s triangular meet at Lincoln-Way East High School. Despite the lack of scheduled competition, the Griffins earned the slight edge in the distributed team points to technically claim the victory on an otherwise quiet day for the men’s squads.
