Trump deploys Illinois Nartional Guard
President Donald Trump will federalize 300 Illinois National Guard troops, Gov. J.B. Pritzker said in a statement Saturday.
‘Pritzker said Saturday morning the U.S. Department of War gave him an ultimatum to either call the Guard up or the Trump administration would.

ICE agents attacked near Chicago
Federal prosecutors in Chicago say they will continue to hold violent criminals accountable after two individuals are accused of using their vehicles to assault, impede, and interfere with federal agents.
Prosecutors charged two people with striking the federal agents’ vehicle and boxing them in. One agent was unable to move his vehicle and exited the car, at which point he fired approximately five shots from his service weapon at one of the suspects.
Madigan to report to jail
Former Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan must report to prison Oct. 13 after a federal appeals court denied his request to remain free.
Madigan, who also served as the chairman of the Democratic Party of Illinois, was sentenced to 7.5 years in prison in February for corruption.
